Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 September 2026

Navinode respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices available to you when using Navinode.

1. What Navinode is

Navinode is a platform designed to make sourcing company merchandise simpler. Buyers can create merchandise briefs, provide sourcing requirements and, where available, review organised product recommendations, pricing and supplier responses.

Navinode is currently operating in beta. Some recommendations, supplier responses or functionality presented during beta may be simulated or provided for testing purposes rather than representing live supplier quotes.

2. Information we collect

When you use Navinode, we may collect information you provide directly, including:

  • your name;
  • work email address;
  • company name;
  • contact number;
  • merchandise requirements and briefs;
  • budgets, quantities, delivery requirements and other sourcing information;
  • logos, artwork, brand guidelines, inspiration images and other files you upload;
  • feedback or messages you provide to us; and
  • account information you provide when creating or accessing an account.

We may also collect technical and usage information such as your browser or device type, pages visited, interactions with Navinode, timestamps, referral information and other diagnostic or analytics information.

3. How we use your information

We may use your information to:

  • provide and operate Navinode;
  • save and manage your merchandise briefs;
  • prepare and display recommendations and sourcing information;
  • improve the Navinode product and sourcing experience;
  • understand how people use Navinode during beta testing;
  • communicate with you about your briefs or account;
  • provide support and respond to enquiries;
  • detect misuse, errors or security issues; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

During beta testing, information from your brief may be used to generate or prepare example recommendations so we can test the Navinode sourcing experience.

4. Suppliers and third parties

During the current beta, Navinode will clearly tell you before any brief is intended to be shared with a live merchandise supplier.

Where Navinode states that a brief is being used for beta recommendations only, your brief and brand assets will not be sent to merchandise suppliers as part of that beta process.

As Navinode introduces live supplier fulfilment, information necessary to obtain recommendations, quotes or fulfil an order may be shared with participating suppliers. Navinode will update its processes and disclosures as these services become available.

We may also use service providers that help us operate Navinode, such as hosting, database, email, analytics and infrastructure providers. These providers may process information on our behalf where necessary to provide their services.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Analytics

Navinode may use analytics and product-measurement tools to understand how visitors use the platform, identify problems and improve the experience.

This may include information about pages viewed, interactions, device and browser information and how users progress through Navinode.

6. Data storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect information held by Navinode against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

However, no online service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

Some technology providers used by Navinode may process or store information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate safeguards.

7. How long we keep information

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Navinode, provide services, conduct legitimate beta testing, resolve issues and meet legal obligations.

Information that is no longer reasonably required may be deleted or de-identified.

8. Access, correction and deletion

You may contact Navinode if you would like to:

  • access personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of your account or personal information; or
  • ask a question about how your information is handled.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

Navinode may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your progress, maintain functionality, understand product usage and improve the service.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Navinode develops, particularly as live supplier functionality and additional services are introduced.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
